Grant Resources
The members of the Board of Directors of the ARS invite you to consider ways which will make
your chapter stronger and allow it to provide better playing and educational opportunities for
your members. To help in the endeavor, the ARS has allocated funds for use by chapters.
Since September 1, 1991, chapters needing help to increase their membership and enhance their
programs have been invited to apply for $150-$300 per fiscal year (contingent on the ARS
budget). The Chapters & Consorts Committee awards these grants to chapters demonstrating the
greatest need and/or best use of the grant. Where competition for funds exists, ARS will give
preference to chapters that plan to use grant proceeds for chapter and ARS
membership-development purposes.
ARS Chapter Grants are available only to chapters having at least 10 ARS
members.
Grant applications are due each year on the following schedule: May 15 for projects starting at
any time after July 1, and November 15 for projects starting at any time after January 1.
