Diane Mularz Passes Away, Leaves a Bequest for ARS
The ARS recently received a generous bequest from the estate of Diane Mularz. We are grateful to Diane for thinking of the ARS when she made her estate plan in 2020. Diane passed away in January 2023 at age 72. We hope it made her happy to know what her gift would mean to us.
Although she started with the oboe and clarinet, Diane found that those instruments didn’t appeal to her after her college graduation. So she taught herself the recorder with the “Rooda book” and then took a course from a local college. Diane remained an avid recorder player for more than 30 years and was a member of Northern Virginia Recorder Society. By profession, she was a software engineer. She was also a juried quilt artist.
