New "Angel" Fundraising Program Established

Since 2019, nearly 20 "angels" have sponsored pieces of music which are added to the ARS Members' Library Editions or the Play-the-Recorder Month Library. These pieces are mailed with each quarterly issue of American Recorder magazine. The Angel sponsorships help to cover the costs of production and enable the ARS to produce high-quality pieces and offer a modest honorarium to each composer. Learn more here.
 
Now ARS is extending its Angel sponsorship into the virtual programs that bring recorder instruction to new and intermediate players in a Zoom class. The new $500 sponsorship puts you or your organization’s name on an online class event. The first Angel sponsoring an online class for emerging recorder players is the North American Virtual Recorder Society (NAVRS). Their generous donation will be used to pay the online teacher.

You may also earmark your $500 donation with "Class Sponsorship" in the memo line of a check or in the "Purpose of Donation" box when donating online.
